In this first post I would like to recommend a free online dictionary to you that has helped my students and me a lot. I am sure you will also find it helpful: Cambridge Dictionaries Online.
You can select from 4 different dictionaries: Advanced Learner's, American English, Idioms and Phrasal Verbs. It can even show you the phonetics and if you misspell a word, the dictionary will make some suggestions and try to "guess" what you meant. Check it out!
